Dan Nobles is a wildlife and nature photographer based in southeast Kansas and the founder of Monk Reflections. After serving more than 30 years as an Army officer, Dan began exploring trails, back roads, and remote parks across America in search of new perspective and healing. In the stillness of nature, he found restoration of both spirit and purpose.

Through backcountry car camping and slow travel, Dan documents wildlife, landscapes, and the quiet moments that often go unseen. Photography became his way of sharing the beauty of creation and encouraging others to step outside, slow down, and experience the wild for themselves. His work is shaped by patience, reverence for nature, and a deep respect for the land.
